VIM Consultant

VIM Consultant :

The Primary duties will include, but shall not be limited to the following:

  • Working with the GS team to finalize the design of enhancements that have been identified
  • Work on the implementation of the enhancements
  • Testing and Documentation of all the enhancements and changes made
  • OpenText VIM Knowledge transfer to the GS Team
  • Working with the Global Support (GS) team to provide Hypercare support and resolve any issues arising from the implementation
  • Work with Core Team on production incidents and fixing defects
  • Perform adhoc and project-based support as needed.

Desired Experience:

  • Participation in at least 2 full implementations of the OpenText VIM solution.
  • Working on projects in highly customized SAP environments;
  • Experience with SAP S4 business suite highly desirable;
  • Knowledge of Content Repository set up and Archive Center
  • Good understanding of the entire OpenText invoice process flow, from initiation through Coding and approvals
  • Working with custom workflows for Approvals (PO and Non-PO) highly desired;Knowledge of SAP ABAP/4 is desired.
  • Knowledge of ECM/xECM is desired.

Preferred Skills :

  • 5 to 7 years hands on experience preferably with 2 or more End-to-End implementation cycles on VIM 7.5 and above versions. Experience in upgrade project and post upgrade activities is must.
  • Experience in gathering requirements, designing, configuring the system, and testing.
  • Experience in conducting Business Blueprint design workshops and prepare functional gaps analysis.
  • Sound knowledge on configurations in VIM – Intelligent Capture for SAP Solutions, Business Center for SAP Solutions, Barcoding, Open Text Archive Center, and integration with SAP AP, AR, GL and other external applications such as Ariba
  • Experience with E-Invoicing and Localization
  • Experience in handling complex enhancement in the OpenText VIM (Vendor Invoice Management)
  • Invoice workflow approval design.
  • Process Type determination sequence for different document types.
  • Configuring and managing exception handling.
  • Present and configure VIM workflow scenarios.
  • Standard VIM Reports and custom report designing.
  • Good understanding of SAP AP process and EDI is preferable for this role.
  • Experience in working with Fiori Apps for Coding and Approvals.• Experience in writing functional specification, Configuration rational and other project related documents
  • Working on Agile/scrum Methodology is desirable
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills, is required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent educational & professional experience and/or qualifications.
  • 5+ years of SAP/OpenText VIM Functional/technical experience.
  • Experience with Internal documentation – technical and functional.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, organization, planning and leadership skills.
  • Strong management, communication, technical and remote collaboration skills are a must.
  • Experience in dealing with cross-functional teams, and ability to coordinate across teams.
  • Ability to effectively conduct technical discussions directly with Project/Product management.
